Today’s post is about the easiest way to prepare couscous for lunch or dinner. For the ingredients, you will need:
½ Pound Couscous
2 cups of water
3 Tbl Spoons of extra virgin olive oil
1 chopped onion
2 cloves (crushed) of garlic
1 grated carrot
1 can of peas
1 Tbl Spoon of Harissa
Salt and pepper
– In a saucepan, heat the Olive Oil, add the chopped onion, stir and allow cook until soft. Add the crushed garlic and the Harissa, then stir again.
– Add water, stir and bring to boil.
– In a separate pot (with a cover) add the couscous, the water with the previous ingredients; then add the grated carrot, the peas and stir.
– Leave it for 5 minutes, add salt and pepper and your couscous is finally ready.
